Environment Protection
Protecting people and the environment is one of the core values for LLP BK Energy for which the Company is constantly setting and achieving higher environmental standards. LLP BK Energy environmental activities are focused on air protection, rational use of water resources, protection of subsoil and land, waste disposal and raising environmental awareness. The Company’s key environmental commitments include minimizing environmental emissions from its operations, increasing the environmental safety of operations and continuous improvement of its environmental performance. Below is a brochure about LLP BK Energy 2022 Environmental Activities and Performance. In 2022, the National Plan has established a quota of 212,998 tonnes of CO2 emissions for Kg oil & gas. We intend to improve the efficiency of our facilities by changing the operations and maintenance schedule and lowering .In addition, to raise awareness of local flora and fauna, LLP BK Energy has developed a first-of-its-kind illustrated trilingual handbook demonstrating the diversity of flora and fauna in its area of operations. Social Investments
The social investment projects of LLP BK Energy are designed to awaken and highlight the boundless potential of each Atyrau Oblast citizen and community. LLP BK Energy works to promote accessibility and the mechanisms that support economic development, education, and health in order to provide people more chances.
The initiative provides funding for the development of social infrastructure in the Almaty Oblast, including parks, kindergartens, schools, and sports facilities. Following the conclusion of the “Almaty Bonus Fund” social program (2020–2022), which required an initial investment of $50 million, an updated program of social and infrastructural development called Egilik was introduced in 2023. Since 2024, the program’s yearly budget has been $25 million. Egilik gave Almaty Oblast’s infrastructure development a significant boost. The Zhylyoi district and regional headquarters are adorned with brand-new, contemporary structures, along with multipurpose medical clinics and centers, well-equipped schools, and other educational establishments.

Community Investment Program (CIP)
In 2021, the LLP BK Energy Community Investment Program was underway. Its goals are to promote economic development, healthcare, education, and volunteerism among the populace. In 2022–2023, 144 social projects totaling approximately $18.3 million were carried out under the auspices of this program, including those carried out under the FGP–WPMP.
The CIP has a $2.5 million budget for 2023. Children, adults, seniors, low-income families, large families, individuals with special needs, and many other members of the Almaty Oblast populace are the beneficiaries of programs carried out by non-governmental organizations. In our endeavour to protect the environment, GSSR is equipped with best-in-class ecology-friendly technologies such as sulphur recovery units, hydro-treaters, state-of-the-art effluent treatment plant, vapour recovery systems and low nitrogen oxide (NOX) burners in the furnaces, tertiary and fourth stage separators to remove catalyst fines from flue gases in the Fluid Catalytic Cracking.
